The grass is kept short by the grazing ponies, making it an ideal place for children to play, with enough room for families to meet for large-scale picnics.

Sep. 2019. In Lyndhurst, capital of the New Forest, Bolton's Bench is the idle place to start a forest walk. It is clearly an iconic situation. from the top you can see all around. Look over the little cricket pitch and just to the south is the spectaculat little church, well worth a visit. Plenty of ponies wandering around which leaves you in.
